THE CACTOPHILE CLUB is a proud member of The Cactophile Network, a new online community by and for cactus fans and succulent enthusiasts, to carry on Marina Welham’s dream of a global fellowship of cactus fanciers.
We are currently working on installing the network based on WordPress and Peepso. PeepSo is one of the most popular plugins for building an online community on WordPress. Our Cactophile Network will include The Cactophile Club (a social network similar to Facebook), Cactopedia (a wiki allowing connected Club members to create their own encyclopedic dictionary on cacti and other succulents with their own photos and definitions), and Cactobiz (a paid commercial directory of businesses, societies and other organizations worldwide involved in all aspects of growing, collecting, sharing and caring for our favorite plants).
