The Wayback Machine is a Mystery
The Wayback is a mysterious contraption. Sometimes it copies pages without the pictures. Sometimes it copies pictures without the pages. Sometimes it copies a page with some of the pictures.
Staff at the Wayback tipped me off that all the images from a web site can be searched by type, i.e., .jpg. I therefore set to work to find all the missing images in Marina’s TAD.

The result is a “Mystery Gallery” of plant photos without any context. There’s no name of the plant or the plant owner. All we have is the file name, the number assigned to the .jpg file.
Hoping that in time, loose images will be matched to their pages, the jpgs of plants I don’t recognize as being already in the main gallery, have been collected here for the Mystery Gallery. As they are identified, they will be moved to the main gallery.
Meanwhile, you might test your skills by trying to identify the mystery jpgs.
I would like to point out, I am using online services to enlarge the plant photos, and Photoshop to improve the quality, as needed. By this, I mean sharpening, brightening, exposure, color, shadows.
